First off, I wanna say thanks for coming to this page (whether by accident or purpose).
My names Alexander Tat. I'm the owner and photographer of TicTatphoToes. I started my college career in Santa Clara Mission College, and moved to Hult International Business School where I graduated with a degree in Business Management focusing on Human Resources and Business Development. I love this path I am on because I’ve developed a desire to understand our human inclinations and help others grow through our understanding of it.
My love for photography was first sparked when I was in middle school. My father had just gotten a new Nikon D40 camera with a 18mm-55mm kit lens. What also kindled the flames was my love for cars. I was always so amazed by automotive photography. “A super defined car with a blurred background”. Another influence would be my high school photography teacher; Mr. Ian Danielson.
I’d be so bold as to say, he was one of the best teachers ever. He taught us photography from the ground up. From the basics like the 1/3 rule, to how to develop film. Being able to learn the history of how it started and how much consideration it took for each photo taken gave me a deeper appreciation for each photo that is “developed” now.
Lastly but not least, the greatest influence, the one who gave me this amazing passion; God the Father. Without him, I would not have this passion. He’s given me an opportunity to capture a small glimpse of the beauty that God sees in His creation. I would not be who I am now, if it weren't for Him. I'm a Son of God first, all else comes second. :)
